Photographic Experiment 4 : Turn a Color Photograph into Black and White

Color is wonderful if you can express something with it. If it gives a special mood. But sometimes colors are just not that interesting. Sometimes they just bore the hell out of you as if the whole world was underwater and it is all just too monochrome.

So I take the color out. Black and white is pure light. It has a serenity to it that “colorful” (a color image without a color concept) will never get. A black and white photograph can take a banal situation and turn it into something serene.
